Dr. Ship is also a member of the Senior Bowl Committee as well as other athletic booster organizations.

He is a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, where he has sat on several church committees, taught Sunday school and served as an usher and greeter. He also performs donated dental services for women undergoing treatment at Home of Grace. When away from the office, Dr. Ship enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing. He and his wife, Julia, have a daughter, Mary Sisson, and two sons, Eli and John Luke.

The new patient experience with Dr. Ship is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced with any other dentist. Dr. Ship believes even the smallest detail cannot go unnoticed. In order to provide the highest level of care, a new patient examination consists of radiographs, high definition photographs, evaluation for periodontal disease, oral cancer screening, TMJ and muscle examination and a thorough cleaning. This initial examination allows Dr. Ship to provide information to patients in four primary categories: aesthetics, function of the teeth, joints and muscles, condition of the teeth and biological factors affecting one’s oral health.
